“And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people” (Leviticus 26:12 ESV). Life, salvation, and the whole of blessedness are embraced in these words. David can, therefore declare, “Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall! Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!” (Psalms 144:15).
